Somers Town Loop is a public space for the community of the ward of St Pancras and Somers Town, based in
the heart of Camden, London (UK).
It is a place for the community to come together to share, inform
and gain new experiences, hosted and overseen by Somers Town Community Association and the St Pancras & Somers Town Living Centre.
In collaboration with local residents and partners, we have created this space to enable groups and individuals to come together in a shared sense of community ownership at a time when the sense of isolation, loneliness and loss are a challenge to us all.
A community is an engaged and connected group of individuals in pursuit of mutual interests or a shared commonality.
This is why one of the key objectives for Somers Town Loop is to increase and drive genuine and cohesive engagement.
1. Identity, our community has a shared and common sense of self.
2. Purpose, our community has a clear sense of purpose, which is achieved by collectively working together.
3. Objectives, our community works hard to strive towards real and tangible goals for the local community.
4. Interest/Passions, our community has shared interests and passions both as individuals and groups.
